Register today to join a FREE emergency preparedness online training on October 16th (5:30-7:15 p.m.) for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, their families, and support providers. The training is free and voluntary.
What does this training include?
A 90-minute presentation on how to prepare for different types of emergencies and natural disasters that we can expect to experience in the Portland Metro area, like wildfires and hot weather, ice storms and cold weather, floods, earthquakes, and power outages.
A resource packet (PDF) containing resources and information shared by local county emergency and disaster management offices and partner organizations, including PGE, NW Natural, Pacific Power, Portland Water Bureau, PDX 9-1-1, and more.
This training is a collaboration between Community Pathways, Multnomah County I/DD Program, Multnomah County’s Office of Emergency Management, and Oregon’s Office of Developmental Disability Services.
