National Weather Service Warning for areas in Oregon
Warning is from 11 am Friday through 11pm Saturday
The forecast includes gusty winds, low humidity, and high temperatures. These extreme conditions increase the risk of fires.
To protect the public, Oregon’s electrical companies may initiate Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) to prevent electrical systems from igniting wildfires.

Area 2: Columbia River Gorge: Power Off
Area 3: Oregon City: 12 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Area 4: Estacada: Power Off
Area 5: Scotts Mills: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Area 6: Portland West Hills 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Area 7: Tualatin Mountains 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Area 8: North West Hills 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Area 9: Central West Hills 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Area 10: Southern West Hills 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) happens, some people won’t have electricity. It’s possible some might lose power for up to 48 hours.
Here is a short checklist of preparations everyone should have in place:
• Charge devices
• Locate flashlights
• Have water and non-perishable food on hand
• Gather medications
• Know natural supports
• Be ready to evacuate if needed
• Have a “go bag” ready, including chargers and essential documents
